Swiss School of Management having Management School setup in Italy, London and headquarters at Switzerland has joined hands with CGC, Landran to form academic alliance in order to provide world class education in the field of Business Management. The academic alliance would enable the undergraduate students currently pursuing their BBA degree from CGC to pursue higher education at Swiss School of Management, while those pursuing their post-graduation course of PGDM can opt for dual degree program.

Dr. Massimilioino Bracale, President, Swiss School of Management discussed the proposal with Satnam Singh Sandhu, Chairman and Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President, Chandigarh Group of Colleges during his visit to the campus. Dr. Bracale lauded the efforts of the management for providing world class infrastructure to the students of the region.

While interacting with the students, Dr. Bracale informed them that the Swiss Banks manage about 1/3rd of world’s total capital. “Switzerland is known for providing Quality in what ever they do”, he said. Dr. Bracale further added that Switzerland has the world’s best Business Schools, Polytechnics, Hotels and Hospitals. The common thinking to make our students as the best professionals in their field has brought us and CBS Landran together sharing common platform. With some of their students working for organizations like United Nations, Swiss Bank, the students of CGC in association with Swiss School of Management will also get International opportunities.

Satnam Singh Sandhu and Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal welcomed the proposal put up by the Swiss School of Management to form academic alliance which would enable the students of CGC, Landran to earn Swiss degree along with their Indian Degree which would add to their professional and academic life and will ultimately enhance their employment options

University of Wolverhampton, UK

University of Wolverhampton, UK and Chandigarh Engineering College has signed a Memorandum of Understanding. This MOU was signed by Professor G. Hurd, Acting Vice Chancellor for University of Wolverhampton, United Kingdom and Dr. G.D. Bansal, Principal, Chandigarh Engineering College.

According to which graduates from CGC will be sponsored for Post Graduation studies in the University of Wolverhampton, with 10% discount in the tuition fee.

A score of 6.0 on IELTS A score of 550 on TOEFL (or 213 in the computerized version)

6 years of successful full-time study and assessment at secondary/tertiary level entirely through the medium of English.

Part time jobs are also available for CEC students. Most of the PG students finance their own studies from job earnings. CEC Students can register with the online jobs database and view the series of vacancies ranging from temporary, vacation and permanent work to full and part-time positions.

In order to provide world-class education to its students Chandigarh Engineering College Landran has signed an MOU with University of Technology, Sydney, Australia.

The UTS representatives Professor Archie Johnston, Dean, Faculty of Engineering, UTS, Associate Professor Deepak Sharma, Director Energy Planning and Policy Programme, UTS and Er Satyawan Dhupper, Associate of Faculty of Engineering, UTS (India) have come up with this proposal after getting satisfied with the infrastructure, laboratory facilities and the faculty of CEC.

• Exchange visits by the students and staff from both institutes for the purpose of teaching, study and research.
• The library materials and research publications will also be shared.
• Joint research ventures on internationally funded projects.
