Earn While You Learn
Earn While You Learn is a new
concept adapted from western
university system. It encourages
students to take up practical training
and part-time jobs at MNCs as they
pursue their degree programme at the
colleges.
Pre Placement Cell
Pre Placement Cells at our colleges
prepare students to face interviews
and improve their communication
skills. CEC and CGC’s School of
Engineering have also set up
Language Labs. The labs help
students improve their conversational
ability and pronunciation.

arrange students’ interface with

Wi Fi Enabled Campus
Chandigarh Group of Colleges campus is completely Wi
Fi enabled. Comprehending the vast expanse of the
internet for referring to journals and publications, the
campus is enabled with this facility. Students can access
the web round the clock in the labs and also on their
laptops even after the normal college hours. With this
technology at the campus, all hostels and college
buildings have been provided internet connections.

Spacious e-class rooms having excellent ambience and
equipped with all modern teaching aids like LCD, NPTEL
video courses, multi media projectors etc. are available

E-Libraries
Innovative E-Libraries, on the college campuses at Landran
and Gharuan store the entire information about available
books and other resource material on computers. E-Libraries
subscribe to international e-journals, books and reference
articles. These libraries also possess over 300 video and web
based courses prepared by the faculty of IITs and other
leading Institutions.
Placement Cell
The campuses have set up separate placement cells to ensure
on-the-campus placement of the students. The Placement
Cells closely monitor the students’ academic performance as
it hunts for on the job training opportunities and suitable jobs
through on-campus-placement drives before they complete
education.
Entrepreneurship Cell
The CGC management has set up Entrepreneurship Cells on
both the campuses. Primarily a European concept, it aims at
making students self reliant and set up their own industry or
corporate house. The cells help students to prepare project
reports after identifying their potential and arrange financial
and technical assistance for students’ own ventures.
